D&M Total Support Network Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) is short-term, NDIS-funded housing for people who are waiting for their long-term home to be ready. It provides a safe, stable place to stay while your permanent housing solution is finalised.
MTA offers temporary accommodation for up to 90 days while you transition to your long-term home. It is designed for participants who are waiting for SDA or another permanent housing option, are ready to leave hospital, aged care or another temporary setting, or need a safe place to stay while their long-term supports are arranged.
We arrange MTA in apartments and Airbnb rentals rather than a fixed set of houses. Nothing is held ready in advance, which means we can look for a place that suits you and gives you more choice.
If you are unsure about eligibility, we can help you and your support coordinator work it out.
Temporary accommodation for up to 90 days while you transition to your long-term home
Stays in apartments and Airbnb rentals, so you have more choice of location and setting
A comfortable, safe home while you wait for your permanent housing
Respectful, culturally aware support from our team
Clear communication with your support coordinator, family and other providers
A smooth transition into your long-term home once it is ready
MTA covers the accommodation only. Daily support is funded separately through your NDIS plan
You may be eligible for MTA if you have an approved long-term housing solution that is not yet available, need a safe and stable place to stay during the transition, and have MTA funding included in your NDIS plan.
We source apartments and Airbnb rentals for each stay instead of keeping properties on standby. That gives participants more choice of location, layout and accessibility features.
A comfortable, safe home while you wait for your permanent housing, respectful and culturally aware support from our team, and clear communication with your support coordinator, family and other providers.
We collaborate with your support coordinator and housing providers to ensure your MTA dates align with your transition plan, your supports continue without interruption, and all documentation is clear, transparent and audit-ready.
